Sponsorship
HOTM IS A GRASSROOTS LED INITIATIVE AND AS PARTICIPANTS, THERE ARE SEVERAL OPTIONS TO COVER THE COSTS OF YOUR TRAINING

1) House of the Moon pairs you with a Sponsor(s)

2) Seek out a Sponsor or partial Sponsorship on your own (do you work for or know of an organization that would sponsor you to take this training? Would your Tribe or First Nation consider sponsoring you or a portion of your training?)

3) There is a Pay Direct option (please contact us for further information)

House of the Moon is seeking individuals, collectives, organizations, and corporate sponsors to cover the costs for Indigenous Women who apply and get accepted into the program. Please contact us if you would like to be a sponsor or make a partial contribution to a sponsorship.

Important Information for our Applicants & Future Income Opportunities

You will need good access to WiFi to use video & sound in order to take this virtual training. (If you yourself do not have good WiFi services and still would like to take the training, see if your Tribal office, local school or community center would allow you to use space during training hours)

If you have to end the training for any reason, fees will not be refunded to you or your sponsor. If you are able to join a future training, a portion of the sponsorship funds will be applied to that future training.

You will need to be on time for meetings and be able to commit to attending all virtual sessions and the 4-day retreat.

Once you become a facilitator, you will have the opportunity to hold six HOTM 4-part sessions in your own communities to share your gifts and what you learned from the training. By doing so, you can earn a minimum of $2,400 or more annually.

There is a mandatory attendance for the Retreat and you will have the choice to attend virtually; however, we strongly encourage attending in-person.

Opportunities will be open to HOTM facilitators to mentor future trainees for honorariums.

If you miss more than 3 virtual sessions, you will need to stop the training program with a possibility of joining a future training.

As the organization grows, there will be more job opportunities that will open up
